Rosebio was one of 10 startups from 7 regions in Italy, selected to participate in the “LIFE” acceleration path with activities aimed at validating and developing the business model, strengthening the managerial skills of female entrepreneurs, developing turnover, identifying partnerships, generate contacts, opportunities and industrial, commercial or financial relationships. LIFE was launched in may 2024 by the Emblema Foundation, in partnership with Invitalia, the Italian National Development Agency. The path is implemented as part of “Female Entrepreneurship”, the program managed by Invitalia and financed by the Ministry of Made in Italy Enterprises. The programme reached the culmination with a pitch contest held within the annual national event “Borsa della Ricerca” (Research Exchange), held in Catania, Italy, on 21st and 22nd October, 2024. This forum involved companies, investors, universities. Along with other participating startups, RoseBio had a dense agenda of one-to-one meetings with potential partners in Pharma and Research, as well as Angel investors, collecting first feedback and expressions of interest for the business and technology proposition. Finally our CEO, Marcella Chiari pitched our idea to the whole audience and was awarded by the first price, including 10.000 euro-worth check.
